Renowned Jewelry Store Owner, Howard Zenker Is Bestowed
With Awards From Pa. Senate and Pa. Jewelers Association
Wayne and Norristown, Pa. - October 17, 2005 - Shuler's Jewelers, one of the area's most trusted jewelers, announced today it has been recognized and awarded by the Senate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Jewelers Association.
During the 2005 annual meeting of the Pennsylvania Jewelers Association in Camp Hill, Pa., Howard Zenker was awarded the state's "Jeweler of the Year" for his community efforts and "active participation in the building of a better jewelry industry in Pennsylvania." The Pennsylvania Jewelers Association is an affiliate of Jewelers of America (JA), which is the largest retail trade organization committed to Consumer education, as well as educating retailers.
"We are proud and so thrilled to recognize Howard Zenker with this award," said Karen Fanelli, Executive Director of Pennsylvania Jewelers Association. "He has continued the legacy of excellence for Shuler's Jewelers with his compassionate community involvement and continuous support for the jewelry industry."
The Senate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania also recognized and congratulated Shuler's Jewelers on July 7th, 2005 for its centennial anniversary, its introduction of the Jubilee Diamond, and its induction into the Jewelers of America 100 Club. The Senate offers its best wishes for a continued tradition of excellence. The document was sponsored by Senator Constance H. Williams.
The Pennsylvania Jewelers Association award reads as follows: "Outstanding Jeweler of the Year Award presented to Howard L. Zenker in recognition of his untiring efforts on behalf of his community and his active participation in the building of a better jewelry industry in Pennsylvania from the Pennsylvania Jewelers Association on September 10, 2005."
Shuler's was also recognized by the Jewelers of America (JA) this past July through an induction into its JA 100 Club. The award honors retail jewelry stores that have been in continuous operation for a century or longer and have provided their communities with knowledgeable, professional service. Shuler's has been in business since 1889.
